Kota Tua
Kota Tua, Jakata is one of the recreation center that is often visited on weekends. Kota Tua, also known as Batavia Lama, is a small area in Jakarta, Indonesia. This particular region has an area of 1.3 square kilometers across the North Jakarta and West Jakarta. many interesting places to visit in the old town, including the Old Town Clock Monument Jakarta, Jakarta Kota Station, and Bank Indonesia Museum. After exams with my friends, we visiting kota tua.
The first place we visited was Wayang Museum. In wayang museum many forms of wayang with a variety of sizes, from small to big as ondel-ondel betawi. At the exit door there is a souvenir shop that sells goodies that relate to Wayang museum. Such as clothes, pencils, paper fan who also reads Wayang Museum, Kota Tua.
The second place we visited was Indonesian Bank Museum. When entering the Indonesian bank museum, we deposited the bag and will be given a ticket number to enter the museum. In this museum there are many different types of currencies and also explained about the history of the Indonesian currency (rupiah).
That was my experience when visiting kota tua, Jakarta.
